webdna is a rapidly growing, expert digital development business that specialises in creating great websites using Craft CMS.
The business has expanded rapidly due to growth of both UK based and international projects, and is now looking for a project manager to take ownership of the full project life cycle from pitching for new work right the way through to delivery and support.
The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project management within the business, focussing mainly on web development and email marketing but with some digital marketing projects.
You will be involved in all areas of the business from pitching and costing new business through to creating functional specifications, planning project life-cycles, resourcing and deliverables, through to delivery and maintenance of projects of differing sizes.
You will be working with our team of developers and designers and will be supported by account management and business management who will help you ensure that our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and that deliver our client’s objectives.
You will understand development and will ideally have hands on experience working with web/software development teams and projects, or as a web or software developer.
You will be fluent in the language of the web, marketing and SEO, and be able to communicate comfortably with a full range of stakeholders from very technical developers to very un-technical clients, getting the best from all groups.
You will be self-motivated and have exceptional organisation skills, whilst retaining a strong sense of pragmatism. The role will require you to be adept at understanding client objectives and ensuring that our work fulfils those objectives.
Your communication, negotiation and decision-making skills should be first class, and only be surpassed by your attention to detail.
You will take responsibility for:
- Cradle to grave project management of multiple projects concurrently
- Developing project plans and managing them through to successful deployment and subsequent support
- Co-ordination of resource to ensure on time and to budget delivery including, where necessary, third party resource
- Managing relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure that regular and clear communication is maintained throughout project delivery. This will include liaising with stakeholders to ensure that all projects are specified and delivered to their requirements
- Constantly looking for opportunities to streamline our processes to improve speed and quality of our work.
You will also be asked to be involved with business growth from both assisting with pitching for new business, analysing the business and market and recommending ways to grow, improve margin or deliver a better service for our clients.
