webdna welcomes SEO Executive
It’s been a year of growth here at webdna. And the demand for our SEO services both direct to clients and white-labelled for other agencies has been no exception. It has led us to need a dedicated full-time SEO role. And we are really happy to announce that Heeran (Devoran) has joined us as our SEO Executive.
Under the guidance of our Marketing Director, Heeran will be shaping the strategy and managing the implementation of SEO across our clients. Heeran has been in the role for a few weeks and is already making a difference.
As part of the recruitment process, we asked candidates to review our site and suggest how we could improve. We were very impressed at the effort and thought that Heeran dedicated to the task, so much so, her first job on joining us was to start the implementation. We are looking forward to seeing the results in the weeks and months that follow.
Devoran was great during the interview process and excelled in the assessment we set for her. What’s more, she came up with some excellent and innovative suggestions for our website which she is already implementing. We are really looking forward to unleashing her onto our clients' sites.
So who is Heeran? She's a gym-going, SEO-focused, Guinness-loving Taekwondo Black belt! She initially moved to the UK from South Korea to study a BA in Event Management. She really enjoyed the marketing elements of her course and looked for opportunities to further her knowledge. And so, she moved to Nottingham to study an MSc in Digital Marketing at Nottingham Trent University. It was here that her passion for PPC, SEO, and UX began to flourish!
Alongside her course, Heeran worked in a Marketing Assistant role, this allowed her to put the theory into practice. Here she had the opportunity to further explore SEO and it’s fair to say she became hooked!
