webdna welcomes SEO Manager

As an agency, we’ve always believed that great marketing is about more than just eye-catching visuals. It’s about performance, results, and building strategies that support our clients' long-term success. Over the past few years, we’ve expanded our marketing services significantly. 

One area where we’ve achieved consistent results for our clients is SEO, so much so that we’ve even expanded into white labelling for other agencies. As demand has grown, it has become clear that now is the right time to further elevate our SEO capability. And so, enter our new SEO Manager, Dan. 

With a background in journalism, Dan started his career in content marketing within the hospitality industry before moving into a national home and lifestyle retail brand. There, he was introduced to the world of SEO and quickly became hooked. From writing and content planning to product photography and campaign development, Dan began building a solid foundation in all things digital marketing.

Dan then moved to the automotive sector, quickly transitioning into a more specialist role. Here, he further developed skills in social media, video production and technical SEO. Most recently, he has been in a managerial position, leading a team spanning SEO, content, and video.

However, an agency environment had always been something that interested Dan. So, when he came across the opportunity here at webdna, it ticked all the boxes. It was not only the variety of clients and work, but the values we live by that appealed to Dan. In fact, one of the things he’s appreciated so far is the culture here. 

It’s such a great change from big corporate environments. There’s a real sense of trust and support, and that gives you the freedom to do great work. You’re not bogged down in red tape, you can just get on with delivering value for clients.

Since joining webdna, Dan’s hit the ground running. He’s been optimising performance and helping our clients make the most of their digital presence. In addition to this, he’s been focusing on developing more detailed and bespoke long-term strategies to drive growth, enabling us to provide a more holistic service that’s unique to each client and their industry.  

Outside of work, Dan’s a self-confessed car enthusiast. He also enjoys getting out on the bike for a bit of trail riding and hitting the gym when he can. But it’s not all high-octane action. At the heart of it all, Dan confesses to being a bit of a nerd (that’s probably why he fits in with the rest of us so well). Not only does he know his way around a car engine, he’s also built his own custom PC. Dan sounds like a pretty handy team mate to have around! 

We’re thrilled to have Dan on board. He’s only been with us a short time, but already he’s made a huge impact. His mix of creativity, technical knowledge and strategic thinking is exactly what we were looking for. His experience has enabled us to not only maintain our excellent level of service when it comes to SEO, but build on it.
