Webdna top Midlands agency to work for
Campaign Magazine announced the placings of the top 100 agencies in the UK at a drinks reception last night in London. The competition is open to adland organisations such as digital marketing, advertising and PR agencies, and recognises businesses that are committed to creating workplaces that put their employees' well-being first.
We’re thrilled to announce that of the 100 winners, webdna was named 19th overall and one of only 5 non-London agencies in the top 20. And, much to our delight, we were placed 6th in the Boutique Agency Category, which is made up of smaller businesses with 15-24 employees.
I joined webdna during a period of rapid growth, you could sense that momentum had been building for a while. This award is a huge milestone for us, not only because it is a great achievement, but also because it’s the first year that we’ve been large enough to enter a competition such as this.
It’s been fantastic to see the team’s hard work pay off, but this is entirely down to our commitment to maintaining a healthy and open culture. Anyone who has experienced life in an agency will understand that it is hard work as you continually strive to ensure the best possible value for your clients. But, with a strong commitment to maintaining our culture, here is where the webdna’rs seem to thrive.
Whether it’s all hands on deck to get a project over the line, the way we help each other out with a particularly taxing challenge or how we encourage honest dialogue; we never seem to miss an opportunity to build each other up or learn and grow.
It was a pleasure to attend last night’s event and surround ourselves with so many companies that are committed to putting their employees first. We're really proud of this recognition, and it wouldn’t be possible without our whole team. We have won a few awards recently, but this really stands out as it is a reflection of how the team feel about working here.
If webdna sounds like the right place for you and your organisation, why not get in touch and tell us about your workplace?
